There is Only 1 Door....

I made a shocking discovery over the past couple of days....would you like to know what it is??? OF COURSE I AM GOING TO TELL YOU! (like I wouldn't)

I have posted a few things over the past few weeks, some by choice, some by force (or multiple request that sounded a lot like people in the back seat of a car on a long road trip repeating, "Are we there yet?) to the requester, you know I mean that with love and appreciation for you making me write about it....WINK. Anyway, I have posted a few things lately. Most of which have to do with happiness. The entire purpose of everything I post is to help and never burden which is why I leave the reason for my posts out...ANYWAY, (TANGENT I KNOW)

So, with all of that said, I made a shocking discovery which helped me tremendously and will hopefully help you.. The discovery has become my 2nd Law...

Law 2: "Access to the happiness you define can only be achieved by the side of the door you choose"

Here is a brief explanation.....
With the things that are going in my life, (NONE OF WHICH ARE LIFE THREATENING) I found myself in need of a break, or a light, or a window (not to jump out of) but a window of opportunity to make a plan, and apply it. Even after applying my 1st Law which is to define my own happiness, I still found myself taking punch after punch after punch which slightly brought me down. I had to ask myself a tough question, "Which side of the door was I On?"

Here are the meat and potatoes....
You can only be on one side of the door, and that door will inevitably open and shut, it is the door's only job in life, to Open and Close. With every situation, you must make a choice of which side of the door you choose to stand on. On one side, your door is closing, and you cannot proceed any further. The only visions you have are the memories behind you. There is no growth, there are no new goals to set, you have gone as far as you can go. On the other side, that same door is opening, and you suddenly have limitless opportunity. Be as happy as you want, as successful as you want, as loving as you want, you have the choice, you hold the keys, you are your own key master!

So with all of that said, I choose for my door to be open, it is my perception of choice. The things that seemed so big when they were in front of what I perceived as a closed door, have become much smaller when the perception of my door changed. They are now in the boundless field of my uncharted Open Door, and even though they still exist, they are not blocking the option to make the choices that lead to happiness!
